These terms describe how we work and what you can expect when hiring León & Asociados LLC. We prefer to say it clearly from the start: what we do, what we do not do, what it costs, and what responsibility each party assumes.
1. Who we are and what we do
León & Asociados LLC is a consultancy with two lines of work: (1) immigration document preparation — we organize, prepare, and review forms and evidence following the official instructions published by the government — and (2) professional consulting services (process improvement, data, web and career development, among others).
León & Asociados is NOT a law firm and none of its members is an attorney. We do not give legal advice, we do not represent clients before the government or in court, and we do not choose legal strategy. When a case requires legal advice, we say so and refer you to a licensed attorney.
2. Scope of the document service
In the immigration line, our work consists of preparing and organizing documentation based on the information you provide and the official instructions for each process. Decisions about your case are always yours: you review, approve, and sign every document before it is filed. The specific scope of each service (what it includes and what it does not) is described on the service page and confirmed before starting.
3. Your responsibilities as a client
The outcome of good preparation depends on the quality of the information. You agree to provide truthful, complete information and authentic documents, and to inform us of any relevant change in your situation while the service is in progress. We do not work with false information: if we detect altered documents or deliberately incorrect data, we terminate the service.
4. Fees and payments
The service fee is agreed in writing before starting and covers only our preparation or consulting work. Government fees (USCIS or other agencies) are NOT included: they are paid separately and we inform you of the exact amount before starting. When agreed, we can execute that government payment on your behalf, with funds you provide.
Cancellations: work already performed is non-refundable. If you cancel before the service is complete, we assess the actual progress and agree in writing on the amount to be returned, if applicable.
5. No promises of outcome
No person or company can guarantee the approval of an immigration process: the decision is made exclusively by the government. What we do guarantee is the quality of our work: organized, complete documentation prepared rigorously according to official instructions. Be wary of anyone who promises you results.
6. Professional services (consulting)
Professional line projects (processes, data, web, design, career development) are defined through a written proposal with scope, deliverables, timeline, and fee. Deliverables become yours upon full payment; the methods, templates, and internal tools we use to produce them remain ours.
7. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for the quality of our preparation and consulting work. We are not responsible for government decisions, regulatory changes, agency processing times, or consequences arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided to us. In any case, our total liability is limited to the amount of the service fee paid.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States. Any question about them is resolved first by talking: message us on WhatsApp at +1 (612) 358-0861.
