Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

At León & Asociados we work with sensitive information: your personal data and the documents of your process. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who it is shared with, and what rights you have. The short version: we use your information only to deliver the service you hired, we never sell it, and you can request its deletion at any time.

1. Who is responsible for your data

León & Asociados LLC, a consultancy registered in Minnesota (Cottage Grove, MN, United States), is responsible for the information you share with us. You can contact us via WhatsApp at +1 (612) 358-0861 for any matter related to your data.

2. What information we collect

Contact details you give us when you write or register (name, phone, email). Information and documents you choose to share for your process (biographical data, history, evidence, files you upload to the portal). Your client portal account data (login email and basic activity). Messages exchanged through the portal, email, or WhatsApp.

We do not collect your browsing information for advertising purposes, nor do we use third-party ad trackers.

3. How we use it

Only to: prepare and organize the documentation for the service you hired; communicate with you about your process; operate the client portal (documents, progress, payments, and messages); and meet accounting and legal obligations. We never sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who it is shared with

With the technology providers that run the platform, only to the extent necessary: web hosting and database, account authentication, transactional email delivery, and, when you use the portal assistance features, automated processing of the documents you upload in order to organize them (the tool organizes what your documents say; it does not invent or evaluate your case). These providers process data under their own security commitments and may not use it for other purposes.

With government agencies, only when it is part of the service you hired and with your express authorization (for example, when filing the document package we prepared with you). Beyond that, we would only share information if required by a valid law or order.

5. How we protect it

Information travels encrypted (HTTPS), system access is restricted to the team working on your case, and platform credentials are managed in secure environments. Still, no system is infallible: if we detected an incident affecting your data, we would notify you.

6. How long we keep it

While your process is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can support you and meet accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted. You can also request earlier deletion (see section 7), except for what the law requires us to keep.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time for: a copy of the information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your information. Message us on WhatsApp at +1 (612) 358-0861 and we will handle it without complicated procedures.

8. Minors

Our services are hired by adults. Minors’ data is processed only when it is part of a family process and is provided by the responsible adult.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date on this page and, if the change affects how we use your data, we will let you know through the usual channels.
